A hint now revealed about the reason the comic is called Beyond the Veil. There are veils everywhere that keep us from seeing things as they really are. Some of the veils are worn or raised by others, while some we raise or wear ourselves. Reality is never quite what it seems to be, but it can be close and it can, on occasion, be meaningful in ways we never anticipated. Reality isn’t nearly as important as belief in reality. Ponder that as you wonder what reality is, and what possibilities lie before you.

What you believe is not as important as THAT you believe. Belief is what motivates us. Behind every reason, rationalization, dream or drive, there is belief. Without it, you are nothing.

So believe.

And Merry Christmas.

“Give thanks for sorrow that teaches you pity; for pain that teaches you courage — and give exceeding thanks for the mystery which remains a mystery still – the veil that hides you from the infinite, which makes it possible for you to believe in what you cannot see.”
Author: Robert Nathan (1894-1985, American novelist)

She's a bass!

Haven’t seen her in a while, but she’ll be back folks! Hopefully next time she won’t piss off the wrong people… too much.
