I’m late but not off the day of late. Sorry folks. I had a nice 48 hour shift at work and so when I finally got back to the apartment I crashed rather hard. I’d have crashed and burned, but the fuel tanks were empty so… yeah, I didn’t even bring the mail in.
As a RESULT of said long a$$ shift, I am now a fully credentialed CCNP. For those of you who know, you know, for those of you who don’t, it’s essentially a certification in the mid-range that pretty much says I’m a bad bad man to mess with when it comes to routing and switching.
Now that you’ve had your dose of “private life of” we’ll get back to the comic. Yep! There ’tis!
For those of you who haven’t voted yet this month, shame! We have a wip of the above page on display and will probably be switching it out in the next few days with another example of the creative process. Y’all take care and keep the faith!

And on the comic – the plot (unlike my old man’s hair) continues to thicken! can’t wait to see what happens next! ^_^

No criticism to you ceb we all need a break at some point and most certainly after such a shift. As for the comic this is an interesting direction. The shape isn’t quite right for the empress now that he’s a she but do you believe that this could possibly be an associate of hers? Or even someone that wants to possibly try to resurrect him now? Which could lead to some very awkward and possibly hilarious scenes. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The snake character actually reminds me of some of the snake from the first issue of Blacksad. For those who don’t know what that is, definitely check it out. The fact that I’d compare BtV to Blacksad is a compliment.
Looking forward to the continued use of increasingly varied species.

Khajiit’s guess is that it is somebody who desires to maintain the status quo. Emperor dead and nobody the wiser that he ever existed. The longer he goes into obscurity, the harder it will be for anybody to follow in his not-quite literally massive footsteps. It is more likely feared that the emperor had some means of revival, and it would be preferred that the mouse who ruled the galaxies before never return. Too late for that, but Ultima would be amused to find that the winner of the bid is the Empero…ess herself who wanted her old body back. Possibly some of whatever was on the ship that would be irreplaceable.

I just found the comic Ceb, I love it and it’s style. It’s people like you that make me love art. take it easy.
